Ottakringer is a brewery located in the heart of Vienna. Due to the long tradition and first-class quality, the beer brewed here has become an icon of the city. But even the greatest legends must keep up with the times!

We have been asked to refresh the brand image so that it reaches a new, younger target group, and at the same time remains attractive and understandable to current, loyal customers.

By preserving the brand’s DNA, we have rejuvenated and simplified the graphic design of the packaging. Ottakringer has become modern and even more urban. However, it fully retained the image of traditional beer from the family manufactory. We have also arranged and redesigned the other variants from the portfolio. For the whole, we have created a comprehensive visual identification and brand communication elements using, in addition to standard communication channels, urban space and its potential.
